Raju's Cottage

The Home stay situated in Tirthan valley at the base of Great Himalayan National Park, accessible through a manual rope way above the Tirthan River, is a family run setup comprising of 5 double rooms. Surrounded by apple and cherry orchards on three sides and by the Tirthan river (a tributary of Beas) teeming with trout, on the fourth, the setting is typical of the idyllic Himalayan lifestyle of the yore, and takes one back into time and civilization. Majority of the food is grown locally and the cottage is operational throughout the year. One can meander in solitude amongst lush apple and cherry orchards, enjoy some Golden Trout (can even catch some of their own), or take one of the numerous walks around the area.

For the more adventurous, there are options of numerous half/ full day hikes, overnight to multi days treks in the Great Himalayan National Park or in the surrounding area, Mountain biking and birding in the pristine surroundings of this western Himalayan country.
